سیروس   جمالی

 

در سال 1350 در تبریز به دنیا آمد. آموزش جدی موسیقی را از سال 1365 نزد هنرمند گرامی داوود آزاد با ساز تار آغاز کرد و دوره ی مقدماتی و ردیف را فراگرفت. به دلیل علاقه اش به خلاقیت هنری و شیوه ی بدیع نوازندگی استاد حسین علیزاده از سال 1372 به محضر وی راه یافت و به تکمیل آموخته های خود پرداخت

 
تقریباً از همان زمان فراگیری تئوری موسیقی و سلفژ را نزد پژوهشگر و آهنگساز ارجمند محمدرضا درویشی آغاز کرد و همچنان نیز از راهنمایی های ارزنده ی وی بهره مند است. همچنین به مدت سه سال نزد استاد زاون یدیگاریانس نواختن ویلون کلاسیک را فرا گرفته است


سرودن شعر به زبان های آذری و فارسی بخش دیگری از فعالیت های هنری اوست و در این زمینه از راهنمایی های شاعر گرانقدر سید علی صالحی بهره ی فراوان برده است


دو دفتر شعر منتشر شده با عناوین ًماه یکی از نام های تو بودً و ً زیر آسمان روسری ات بخشی از شعرهای کوتاه او را در بر می گیرد


همچنین کاست ًشاپریً با شعر و موسیقی سیروس جمالی و دکلمه ی محمد افتخاری توسط نشر کارگاه موسیقی منتشر شده است

سیروس جمالی علاوه بر فعالیت متمرکز در حیطه ی هنر موسیقی و شعر تحصیلات دانشگاهی خویش را تا مقطع کارشناسی ارشد رشته معماری ادامه داده است.

Biography in English

Siroos Jamali was born in 1971 in Tabriz-Iran. He started his musical training seriously from 1985 by learning the "Tar" with "Davood Azad" and completed the elementary stage and "Radif" with this musician.

 

Due to his great interest in the artistic creativity and innovative methods of "Mr. Hossein Alizadeh" he attended his classes to complete his musical education.

About the time he started learning the theory of music with the great composer and music scholar "Mr. Mohamad Reza Darvishi" and collaborated with him on some of his research projects in east Azerbaijan and still enjoys his precious guidance.

 

Later on he took classical violin lessons for three years under direction of maestro "Zaven Yedigarian" to get more familiar with western music. Siroos has a trained voice and he is a multi instrumental musician. He also plays “Ney” which he studied under supervision of his father Prof. Firooz Jamlai when he was a teenager. Siroos is familiar with Azeri, Persian and western music and instruments such as “Flute”, “Balaban”, “Saze-Asheqi”, “Setar” and “Azerbaijani Tar”.

 

Writing poetry in Turkish and Persian is another part of his artistic activities. He has benefited the guidance of the great poet "Seyed Ali Salehi" in this field. His two poetry collections “Moon Was One of Your Names” and “Under the Sky of Your Scarf” contain his short poems.

 

His poem “Shapari” with his own music and the voice of  “Mr. Mohammad Eftekhari” is published as an audio cassette by "Kargahe-e Museqi publications" and his most recent work “Occult corners of the dawn” has been released by “Barbad Music” .

 

Apart from his active concentration on music and poetry, Siroos has completed his academic studies in architecture with an M.A degree and he is currently on the faculty of Tabriz Azad University as a member of scientific staff teaching architecture.
